MAMPS identification through modulation of AP1, PPAR-gamma & other NF using metagenomics

Objective. Identification of new bacterial molecules involved in the cross-talk with host intestinal epithelial cells and signaling pathways involved.

Approach. Screening of metagenomics libraries for clones modulating transcription pathways using reporter gene technology. Analysis of potential receptor involved and signaling pathways using cutting edge cell signaling technology.
